Mock The Week star to perform at Llangollen Fringe

comedy-lgeMock the Week funny-man Gary Delaney will be performing at the Llangollen Town Hall in a double billed set alongside fellow comedian Paul Sinha.

Delaney, best known for appearing on the BBC Two panel show is a quick-witted comic whose series of one-liners will leave the audience struggling to remember the sheer quantity of jokes heard across his set.

Having spent years performing on the comedy circuit and performing in some of the biggest clubs such as The Comedy Store, Highlight, Jongleurs, Komedia, Glee, Rawhide, The Frog and Bucket, and Hyena, Gary has also worked in TV and has written for shows such as 8 out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard’s Good News.

He received two Sony awards for his work with Kerrang! and in 2011 his Twitter feed was nominated for a Charlotte award.

comedy2-lgePerforming on the double bill alongside Gary Delaney is former-GP Paul Sinha, best known as one of the “Chasers” on hit ITV quiz-show The Chase.

Sinha originally qualified as a GP before entering the comedy scene and performing at a variety of venues all over the world including New Zealand, Singapore, China, and Germany.

His full-length show Saint or Sinha was well-received at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was nominated for an if.comedy award.

As well as having spent the last three years as a Chaser, Sinha has regularly appeared on comedy podcasts such as Radio 4’s Loose Ends and the Now Show, as well as providing input on Talksport and Radio 5Live.

Gary Delaney and Paul Sinha will be performing at the Llangollen Town Hall on Thursday July 17, doors open from 7:30pm and tickets are priced at £10.  For more information click here.
